About Evaparin Injection

Evaparin Injection is a blood thinner that helps prevent and treat blood clots. It stops existing clots from getting bigger and helps reduce the risk of new clots forming. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), and certain heart-related problems.

 

How It Is Given

This injection is given under the skin by a doctor or nurse. It should not be injected into a muscle. The dose and length of treatment depend on your medical condition and how your body responds to the medicine. While using Evaparin, avoid activities that may cause cuts, bruises, or injuries, as it can increase the risk of bleeding.

 

Possible Side Effects

Common side effects may include pain at the injection site, bleeding, headache, fever, diarrhea, swelling, anemia, breathing difficulties, increased platelet count, and changes in liver test results.

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe headaches, severe stomach pain, unusual bruising, or any signs of bleeding, as these may indicate serious complications.

 

Before Using Evaparin

Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, a history of stroke, or any bleeding problems. Do not use this medicine if you have active bleeding. Inform your doctor about all medicines you are taking, as some medicines can interact with Evaparin.

People with low body weight may have a higher risk of bleeding. Drinking alcohol while using this medicine can also increase the risk of stomach bleeding.
